Personal Training is a fantastic tool for anyone starting out who might need some direction and help creating a fitness programme from scratch and setting goals. PT sessions are also great for those in need of motivation or encouragement, but they can be beneficial too, for regular gym-goers who want to up their game or try new workouts or exercises.

Whilst most gyms charge for their PT sessions on top of the monthly membership fee, at our New Forest gym, we offer optional FREE 60-minute personal training sessions as part of your membership, which means meeting your fitness goals is even more achievable.

Taking advantage of our personal training sessions is also a fantastic way to hold yourself accountable; with the help of our professional trained team, you can set clear, defined goals and make a real, concerted commitment to your fitness.

Stay motivated

Seeing and meeting others who are also on a health and fitness journey can be hugely motivating, whilst booking ‘in-person’ classes, such as spinning or aqua aerobics, means you are more likely to attend. Meeting your fellow members and seeing familiar faces is also motivating, and a touch of friendly competition can go a long way!

Our class list has been carefully curated to offer the perfect combination of high and low intensity sessions to satisfy your mind, body and soul.

During the summer members look forward to organised weekly cycle rides in the forest, or group runs outdoors which is a nice way to change up your routine and gets people outside into the fresh air to exercise together in a different way.

It’s more than just a gym

Take to our 14m UV treated swimming pool to complete some lengths, enjoy a post-workout sauna and steam, catch up for coffee after class in the Zen Garden restaurant, or book yourself into SenSpa spa for a treatment.

We have a multitude of classes to choose from, from Vinyasa and Hatha yoga practices to Pilates and Body Balance, H.I.I.T (High Intensity Interval Training) and Tai Chi sessions. Classes for all, to suit different goals, bodies, and abilities.

Naturally, our New Forest gym is also a community for those who wish to be part of it. You can go solo in the gym, join other members in classes, or enjoy a passing chat between swims, but you will get to know your fellow members with each visit, and you can get involved in quarterly social evenings too if you wish. The social events are always popular – especially our summer party, so, if you’re new to the area or looking to get to know a group of like-minded people, this is a wonderful opportunity.

Festival debut

To kick off 2025 we’re organising our first ever Wellness Festival at Careys Manor Hotel & SenSpa in the New Forest on 26th January. It’s a FREE one-day festival designed to equip you with invaluable tools to boost your mental and physical wellbeing in 2025. The day promises to refresh your mind and body, bringing together a stirring lineup of expert speakers and interactive workshops to inspire sustainable mental and physical wellbeing. 10am – 6pm, tickets are free and will be available from early January.
