Room Attendant 30 hrs pw
An opportunity is available for a reliable and hard working person to join our Housekeeping team.
As a Room Attendant you will be responsible for servicing hotel bedrooms and public areas to a superb standard and ensuring our guests are delighted every time.
This role is full-time, 30 hours per week - working flexible shifts on a rota basis to include weekends.
Summary of Job Purpose: Clean, change and service bedrooms and public areas to a 4* standard, whilst maintaining a professional and friendly manner.
Main Responsibilities: · Changing and making beds· Cleaning bathrooms with appropriate products· Dusting and vacuuming bedrooms· Removing rubbish and separating recyclable items· Cleaning tea making facilities and replenishing supplies· Replenishing towels, stationary, bathrobes, slippers etc· Reporting any maintenance issues· Logging and bagging any lost property· Completing section list and compiling laundry count· Comply with health and safety regulations including COSHH· Wear appropriate uniform and ensure that personal presentation is tidy and acceptable to guests· Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner· Be able to direct guests and have basic knowledge of hotel and facilities· Maintain an excellent level of customer service at all times· Follow company procedures and guidelines· Act in accordance with the Hotel’s fire plan.
The hotel is located in the heart of the New Forest, 5 minutes’ walk from Brockenhurst Village and train station which offers excellent rail links to Southampton (13 miles from Brockenhurst), Bournemouth (18 miles from Brockenhurst) and London. The New Forest is a lovely setting with ponies, deer and other animals roaming throughout the Forest and its villages, and beautiful surroundings.
