Careys Christmas Breaks

Christmas Eve

Christmas festivities should begin with a delightful yuletide Afternoon Tea and some relaxation in front of a roaring log fire, whilst being captivated by the melodies of a harpist. Following your afternoon delights, relish a sparkling Champagne reception accompanied by a string quartet.

Dinner will be in one of our three charming restaurants, choose from fine dining in our award winning 2 AA rosette Manor Restaurant, authentic Thai Cuisine in our Zen Garden restaurant or Le Blaireau, our French Bistro. Whilst you dine, enjoy the beautiful notes of the local choir filling the hotel with traditional festive hymns and with the local churches within walking distance you may want to wrap up and take a stroll to midnight mass.

Christmas Day

What better way to start Christmas Day than with a delectable ‘New Forest Breakfast, and the option to take part in our renowned ‘Car Treasure Hunt’, devised by our Head of Concierge, Colin, for the chance to win a Magnum Champagne. After some fresh air you may need to defrost your toes, so retreat to the warmth of SenSpa, where there is an extensive list of treatments to choose from and of course, magnificent spa facilities. After some well-needed festive pampering you will be ready for the main event, Christmas Lunch, commencing with Champagne and Canapés followed by a traditional sumptuous feast (vegetarian options available). In the evening enjoy our famous seafood buffet along with live music from our guitarist.

Boxing Day

Say a ‘Good Morning’ to another marvellous New Forest Breakfast and then be inspired by a Cookery Demonstration from our Executive Chef. Then take some time out for you and discover the Spa, relax next to the pool with a novel or book an indulging treatment. A Black Tie farewell Gala Banquet completes the perfect Christmas break with a live band, dancing and mouth-watering food. On Monday 27th December, depart at your leisure after you have enjoyed another hearty breakfast, reflecting on your unforgettable Christmas at the Manor.  We will save your spot in front of the fire for next year!
