You’ll find all our staff friendly and accommodating, knowledgeable and ready to assist you.

The Health Membership is perfect for those looking to improve or maintain their fitness with access to the gym and personal training sessions, 36 weekly group classes and the leisure facilities which includes the 14m swimming pool and poolside jacuzzi, sauna and steam room.
The Wellness Membership has all of the inclusions of the Health Membership PLUS access to the SenSpa facilities which includes hydrotherapy pool, steam room, sauna, tepidarium, laconicum, ice room, experience showers as well as use of our relaxation room where there are complimentary teas and coffees throughout the day.
All of our memberships offer discounts in the spa boutique, dining experiences at Careys Manor and on treatments.

It couldn’t be easier. Just call in or phone us on 01590 625208 and ask to speak to one of the fitness team to arrange a show round. They’ll give you a tour of the facilities, discuss your goals and hopefully get you signed up; just don’t expect any hard sell. We want you to join for the right reasons, and not because a salesmen has convinced you with fancy patter. If you do decide to join, just remember to bring along your bank details if you want to pay monthly and your diary so we can get you started at the earliest date.

Once you have joined, towels, inductions, programming and classes are included in your membership. All we ask is that you come down and make the most of them.

Certainly not! Most of our new members are new to exercise so you won’t be alone. Remember, we are here for you and not the other way round and will do everything we can to make you feel at home.

When you first join, we’ll make sure you feel completely confident about where everything is, when sessions run, and exactly what we have to offer. You’ll receive a full induction on our equipment and be supported in completing a Technogym Checkup — a smart body assessment that provides a clear snapshot of your wellbeing and internal age. This information allows us to create a personalised training plan tailored specifically to your results.
Once your programme is set, our Technogym equipment will help you progress your fitness routine, with your results tracked over time via the intuitive digital screens and accompanying app. Our fitness team will always be on hand to offer guidance and support, and as a member you’ll also have access to personal training sessions (subject to availability). Simply book a session and we’ll take care of the rest!

Your Personal Trainer will set up your programme directly on your Technogym app. You will be able to see exactly what your upcoming sessions will involve, track your progress and – with the help of pictures and video clips included to support – correct your form when training independently.

Only if you want it to be. Our experience is that most people are here to look after their health so if that’s the case, then it’s definitely ‘train don’t strain’ and you’ll be in safe hands; however, if you want to break records, then we can equally push you to help you achieve it.

Unless it’s one of our movement based classes such as yoga, then the only thing we insist upon is that top halves and feet are covered. This means either short or long sleeved t-shirts, shorts or tracksuits and a closed soft-soled shoe. If you need any advice on what’s best for you, then the staff can advise.

Simple. Choose one that you are going to enjoy and at a time that suits you. Look in the studio for a couple of minutes the next time a class is on and you’ll can get a pretty good idea of what is involved. Or, talk to one of the staff who will be more than happy to point you in the right direction. A full class timetable with a description of each class will be in your Technogym app and also in your membership pack.

This is simple — connect your fitness device or enter your sessions manually in the Technogym App. Your activities will then link automatically, allowing you to track your progress over time.

We generally do this every November, but don’t worry, we’ll let you know of any changes in advance in writing.

Your details will be collected from the Technogym platform and the Bookwhen booking system. These will be used to record how often you use the gym, attend classes, or swim, which determines entry into the prize draw. Minimum of 8 visits per month to qualify. Good Luck!

All Leisure and Spa facilities, including the swimming pool are for use by those aged 16 years and over. This includes the swimming pool, hydrotherapy pool and all wet areas as well as the gym and relaxation rooms. Spa treatments are available to children aged 16 and 17, when accompanied by an adult. The adult can either sit in on the treatment, or experience a treatment alongside them in the double room.
