  • SenSpa is open everyday from 7am to 8pm.

  • Should you wish to cancel any spa experience, we kindly request 48 hours’ notice to avoid a cancellation charge. Any payments made will be issued back to you in the form of a voucher for you to use towards any spa services.

    If a Spa Break is cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice, the first night’s payment will be taken as a cancellation charge.

    Full charges will be imposed for a ‘no show’.

    Cancellation of treatments with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a cancellation fee of 50%.

  • It is important that you arrive for any spa experience on time. Arriving late for a treatment will limit your treatment time. Please complete a health questionnaire at least 24 hours prior to arrival. The link to the can be found in your spa confirmation.

    If you are staying overnight on a spa break, you can use the leisure facilities from 12pm on your check-in day until 1pm on your check-out day. Your spa itinerary will indicate what time your spa hydrotherapy pass is booked for. If you would like to swim, please  pre-book a swimming lane.

     

  • Please bring non-slip pool shoes/sliders to wear around the wet areas of the spa. We do have pool shoes to purchase at spa reception should you require. We advise against flip flops.

  • Please arrive in whatever you feel comfortable in.

    You will be provided with a bathrobe and this can be worn in all areas of the spa including the Zen Garden Restaurant during lunch.

    If you are dining in the evening at The Zen Garden Restaurant, the dress code is smart casual so please bring a change of clothes for dinner.

    Swimwear must be worn at all times in the hydrotherapy or pool areas. Please feel welcome to wear your own non-slip pool shoes in and around the spa, or you can purchase non-slip pool shoes from the spa reception.

    You can go to your treatment in your bathrobe or wearing whatever you feel most comfortable in. For full body massages, body scrubs and body wraps, your therapist will ask you to remove all your clothing except for your underpants, or they can give you paper underwear, depending on your preference. For facials and head massage you will be asked to remove your top, and for women to lower their bra straps.

  • Swimwear – You may wish to bring two sets of swimwear for your spa day at SenSpa so that you have a dry set for relaxing in.

    Gift vouchers ( if you have used them to pay.)

    Water bottle so you can stay hydrated throughout the day

    Non-slip pool shoes that are suitable for wet areas (Pool shoes are available in various sizes from SenSpa Reception if you wish to purchase them.)

    If you are using the gym, please ensure you pack appropriate footwear and non-constrictive clothing such as trainers, t-shirt, shorts or tracksuits.

  • SenSpa is strictly for adults over the age of 16 years only. This applies to all guests staying overnight at Careys Manor Hotel too. Spa treatments are available to those aged 16 and 17, when accompanied by an adult. The adult can either sit in on the treatment, or experience a treatment alongside them in the double room.

    Use of the SenSpa facilities is chargeable for guests unless otherwise stated. 

  • Towels, bathrobes, filtered water and herbal tea are all provided throughout your spa day.

    SenSpa’s changing rooms are available for spa day guests and members only. We have lockers, private cubicles, and are fully equipped with hair dryers, hair straighteners, shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion.

    If you are staying overnight at Careys Manor Hotel, we kindly ask that you use your bedroom to change and the robe provided.

    We recommend you leave jewellery and valuables at home or in your room safe.

  • Most areas of the spa are wheelchair accessible.

    A hoist is available for both the main pool and hydrotherapy pool. Please let us know at the time of booking if you require use of the hoist so we can make sure a trained member of staff is available to operate it for you.

    • All leisure facilities are available to hotel guests over 16 years and from check in to check out.
    • The pools and wet areas are unsupervised and are used at guests’ own risk.
    • The swimming pool is 1.1 metres at the shallow end and 1.45 meters at the deep end, pool depth signs are displayed within the pool hall. The hydrotherapy pool is 1.35 metres deep.
    • Every guest is strictly required to shower before entering any of the pools. 75% of bacteria is removed by simple showering.
    • Running, jumping or diving are not allowed.
    • In the event of an emergency, there are identifiable pool alarms within the pool hall to raise the alarm.
    • Management reserves the right to restrict access to certain facilities on occasion that safety may be at issue.
    • No glasses, food or crockery to be taken into the poolside or hydrotherapy areas, gym or studio. Plastic cups and mugs are available for use in these areas.
  • Should you wish to book treatments or use the spa facilities during your stay, for your own health and safety, you will be required to complete a health questionnaire. The link to the form is located within your spa confirmation.

    If you have had or currently have a medical condition, have had surgery within the last 3 months or are pregnant, there may be restrictions as to which treatments you may or may not be able to receive.
