Each November, France celebrates the arrival of Beaujolais Nouveau – the first wine of the harvest. Light, fruity and full of joie de vivre, it’s a toast to new beginnings and the simple pleasure of sharing good wine, especially good food and of course, good company. Guided by expert florist Laura, you’ll be shown how to layer fragrant foliage, berries, ribbons and dried fruits into your very own handmade wreath. Head to walking trails at Blackwater on the Rhinefield Ornamental Drive, just a short journey from the hotel. Here you can discover beautiful winter walking routes surrounded by evergreen trees such as the Douglas Fir and the Giant Redwood. After a warming walk we recommend heading back to the hotel for a lunchtime feast or a Festive Afternoon Tea.
