SenSpa Retail Sales Coordinator

Type – Permanent part-time (32 hours per week over 4 days)

Reports to – Therapy & Training Manager

Location –  SenSpa is an award-winning Thai-inspired spa located at Careys Manor Hotel in the beautiful village of Brockenhurst.  It is here that spa therapy and nature therapy combine to offer a unique New Forest spa experience that focuses on the health of the mind, body and spirit. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with customer service experience who is passionate about skincare and beauty. You’ll be working in a beautiful spa environment, helping us create a warm and welcoming experience for every guest who visits our boutique.

We have a small, friendly and supportive team here at SenSpa. Our aim is simple – to make sure every guest has a lovely time with us. In this role, you’ll play an important part by helping guests find the right skincare and beauty products for them. You’ll use your customer service skills and interest in beauty to offer helpful, personalised advice.

The role is for 32 hours per week over 4 days, including weekend days on a rota basis.

Main responsibilities:

  • Being a positive and helpful face of SenSpa, running the boutique smoothly each day
  • Helping to increase sales by offering great service and sharing your product knowledge
  • Following company guidelines to help meet our boutique targets
  • Learning about and sharing information on all our skincare and beauty products
  • Keeping the boutique tidy, well-stocked and beautifully presented
  • Making sure guests feel welcomed, listened to and well looked after
  • Helping with stock checks and basic admin tasks as needed
  • Supporting the team with new starter training when needed

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Experience in retail or customer service, especially in a shop or similar setting
  • A flair for merchandising
  • A warm, friendly personality with a genuine desire to help people
  • A passion for health, beauty and wellbeing – and an interest in skincare
  • Good communication and listening skills
  • Good organisational skills
  • Comfortable with numbers and admin tasks
  • A team player who’s also happy working independently
  • Reliable, motivated and eager to learn
  • Confident in spoken and written English
