Nothing compares to sitting outside with the sun beating down on your face and sipping a fresh alcoholic beverage.
In celebration of the great British summer our Bar Supervisor Oliver has created two new summer cocktails to add to our cocktail menu.
Blending a combination of Dancing Cows
gin, a local distillery that uses fresh fruits and seeds from the New Forest and Camellia’s Apricot Tea
to create our “G + Tea”. He has also specifically designed with the Gentleman in mind, the ‘Baby got Flack’ cocktail including a refreshing locally sourced beer by Romsey’s Flack Manor Brewery
Here are his recipes:
G & Tea
35ml Dancing Cows Gin
50ml Camellia Apricot Tea
25ml Strawberry puree (or until there is some colour)
125ml Pineapple juice
Firstly brew the apricot tea for a good four minutes, then add all ingredients into an ice cocktail shaker. Shake well and strain into an iced glass. Garnish with an orange or grapefruit wheel.
Baby Got Flack
25ml Sailor Jerry Rum
15ml Strawberry puree
50 - 100ml of Flack Manor Beer
Top up with lemonade
Place ice in a lowball tumbler; add the rum, beer, and strawberry purée, then mix. Top up with lemonade. Garnish with an orange wheel or nothing at all to keep it simple.
