You could also consider a late party - December is a busy time for all, so by waiting until January not only will it be a calmer time in the diary but it will also give your team something to look forward to, as well as adding flexibility on availability and competitive pricing.

2. Source the venue

When considering venues, you will need to think about a number of factors including the type of party you want to have, which will mainly depend on the demographic of your guests. Do you need overnight accommodation or at least the option of? Will you be looking for a set menu? Is there easy access to public transport or a local taxi service? Be sure to visit the venue beforehand to ensure that it meets your expectations and try the food where possible.


3. Spread the word

Make sure that you give organise your party with plenty of time, Christmas is the busiest time of the year for many so diaries will be booked up well in advance.
