EBRD | Donor Co-Financing Team Retreat

'Our Team Retreat was a great success!'

In one hand:

EBRD, European Bank of Reconstruction and Development; 'investing in projects, engaging in policy dialogue and providing advisory services to enterprises' sought to host a Donor Co-Financing Team Retreat.

In the other hand:

Careys Manor, a Victorian manor house located in the New Forest boasting luxurious conferencing facilities, an excellent reputation and the perfect setting for an array of team building events and activities.

The Event:

EBRD visited Careys Manor for their Donor Co-Financing Team Retreat for 27 delegates.

As with any conference, the choice of venue was very important to EBRD, as was the availability of team building activities. The event organiser stated that ‘with a team retreat in mind, location was very important to us, as well as attentive service and friendly staff. Being able to book a unqiue team building event with LYC for all 27 delegates was a real bonus and the 'Crystal Challenge' was a great team activity. Having the choice between three dining options was fantastic and in the end we chose to dine in the AA Rosette Zen Garden Restaurant’.

With three restaurants to choose from, a tranquil location in the heart of the New Forest and a five star Thai inspired spa, the possibilities for making your conference memorable are endless.

Particular requirements of DLL:

  • 2 day event
  • Team building activity for 27 delegates
  • Dining in one of our 3 restaurants at Careys Manor.
  • Delegates travelling from all over the world

‘Our stay at Careys Manor was enjoyed by all. The staff were attentive, accommodating and friendly at all times. Thanks to the Events Team for working closely with Adele and I to make our team retreat a great success!'
