The New Forest Cookery School introduces...Game Master Class
In the depths of winter, there’s nothing better than the hearty flavours of some well prepared and cooked, locally sourced game. But lots of people are afraid to cook it at home, even though we have an abundance of the finest game right here in the heart of the New Forest. This course demystifies game classics such as venison, rabbit and pigeon from the importance of hanging it for flavour and tenderness, to preparation and cooking the most amazing dishes.
A typical recipe includes Roast Loin of Venison with chocolate sauce.
Upon arrival you will be welcomed by our chefs in the New Forest Cookery School Green Room, with tea and coffee being served. After a short introduction you will go on to commence your course in our professional kitchens.
