1. Blackwater Walking Trail and Arboretum
This is the best place to experience the majestic Douglas firs and redwoods of the Rhinefield Ornamental Drive. Walk the Tall Trees Trail, take a picnic and wonder at the majesty of two enormous redwoods visible from the path. Stroll around the Sensory Trail and really experience trees from around the world in the Blackwater Arboretum.
2. Discover The Thrilling History of Motorsport
Formally opened by motoring legend Sir Stirling Moss and the iconic motorsport commentator Murray walker, Grand Prix Greats and Road, Race and Rally are the newest additions to the world famous Beaulieu Motor Museum. From the early racing cars right through to Formula 1, explore the engineering excellence of these phenomenal machines.
3. New Forest Cider Farm
This small holding in the pretty village of Burley, has revived the old fashioned craft of cider making, using apples gathered from traditional cider orchards. Find out how they do it whilst sampling cider straight from the barrel.
Any local will tell you that catching a glimpse of our elusive New Forest Deer never get's old. Their ethereal beauty is simply breathtaking.
Situated on an old coaching route, Bolderwood is the perfect spot to get close to the famous herd of Fallow deer which live in and around Bolderwood.
5. Cycle the New Forest
One of the best ways to explore and discover the New Forest is on two wheels. We have over a hundred cycle and walking paths throughout the New Forest just waiting to be explored.
