1. Blackwater Walking Trail and Arboretum
This is the best place to experience the majestic Douglas firs and redwoods of the Rhinefield Ornamental Drive. Walk the Tall Trees Trail, take a picnic and wonder at the majesty of two enormous redwoods visible from the path. Stroll around the Sensory Trail and really experience trees from around the world in the Blackwater Arboretum.
3. Bolderwood Deer Sanctuary
Deer are extremely elusive creatures so spottig them isn't always easy, but at Bolderwood Deer Sanctuary there is a purpose built viewing platform overlooking a large meadow area where a herd of fallow deer regularly gather - a truly magical sight!
While the deer sanctuary is the main attraction at Bolderwood, there are also graded walks and a large picnic area amongst the tall trees
3. Lymington Market
Enjoy this busling market every Saturday from 8am to 5pm, in the Georgian town of Lymington. The market is held in the High Street, the origins of which probably date back to the 13th century. The town is a world renown sailing resort and is home to 4 times olympic gold medalist, Sir Ben Ainslie. A direct train is available from Brockenhurst station to Lymington Town train station, alternatively Lymington is a just a 20 minute drive (with free parking available at Waitrose for 2 hrs).
4. The Beaulieu Motor Museum
Visit the Beaulieu Motor Musuem! Located in the picturesque village of Beaulieu, just 6 miles away, you'll find plenty of activities to keep you busy the BOND IN MOTION exhibition. With fifty vehicles on display, BOND IN MOTION is the largest official collection of original Bond vehicles the world has ever seen. On display until December 2012 at the National Motor Museum, this could be your only chance to see these vehicles on display together.
5.Visit the Isle of Wight
Why not take a day trip to the Isle of Wight? The Island is a hotspot for internationally renowned events, beautiful beaches and many attractions such as Carisbrooke Castle, Osborne House and the Isle of Wight Steam Railway.Take the train from Brockenhurst to Lymington Pier Ferries leave from Lymington, just a 15 minute drive away, several times daily.
